Practical guide
What to check before a provider checkout
Know what changes when a portal sends you to an independently operated provider.
Check the provider destination
Check the provider name and destination domain before continuing. A provider handoff leaves OmniBax and starts a separate provider-controlled visit.
Confirm price, terms and taxes
- Confirm the selected product, configuration, currency and billing term.
- Review the current amount, taxes, renewal treatment, promotion conditions and cancellation terms.
- Treat the provider checkout confirmation as authoritative if it differs from an earlier portal view.
Use the correct customer account
The provider may require its own customer account. That account can control checkout, billing, provisioning, renewal and service support independently of the OmniBax customer account.
Record who owns the purchase
- Record who owns the provider account and receives renewal or security notices.
- Store the final order confirmation and relevant service terms with the business service inventory.
- Use the provider support path for the purchased service and the OmniBax contact path for portal issues.
